CISAR celebrated a successful end to the previous academic year and embraced the new year with an entertaining and engaging evening replete with performances by Dr. Thomas Hunter (sarod) and Dr. Shankhanaad Mallick (vocals) and Hriday (tabla).
The event was well-attended by members of the community, students and faculty. UBC’s President, Dr. Santa Ono and the Indian Consul-General Mr. Rajiv Chander along with Consul-General (commerce) Mr. Lingi Chetty were also among those who attended.
